UTA Supports Rainbow Flight to Freedom Amidst New Immigration and LGBTQ+ Policies
My dear friend, Mac McCarney, a veteran Media Executive with over 50 years of experience in film, television, and attractions, has long championed emerging media talents worldwide, particularly those from Eastern
Europe.
In light of the recent shifts in U.S. immigration and LGBTQ+ policies under the Trump administration, the situation has become even more dire for young LGBTQIA+ individuals seeking refuge. Political crackdowns and increasing repression in their home countries are making it nearly impossible for them to pursue their media arts education and creative aspirations.
Mac’s organization, Rainbow Flight to Freedom (RFTF), is dedicated to supporting these individuals by providing essential aid, including travel assistance, housing, legal representation, and other vital resources
necessary for their safety and success.
His GoFundMe campaign is a lifeline, aiming to offer these young artists a chance to escape persecution and thrive in an environment where they can freely express their talents.
